'Beauty and the Beast' News: LeFou Has A Crush On Gaston, Beast Can't Talk To A Girl To Save His Life [VIDEO]
With the theatrical release of the highly anticipated live action "Beauty and the Beast" fast approaching, Disney has rolled out a slew of new teaser content for the film. In one of the latest clips to come out of the studio, a scene in which Gaston's biggest fan sings about how awesome the antagonist is.
LeFou has a crush on Gaston, and actor Josh Gad recently opened up about how the character is actually gay. In another clip, viewers also learn how Beast can't talk to a girl to save his life. According to the Los Angeles Times, "Beauty and the Beast" actor Josh Gad, who plays LeFou in the film, shared that his character is very conflicted about Gaston.
LeFou admires him, but at the same time "wants to kiss Gaston." Gad explained that the first ever gay character from Disney is on the verge of realizing that he has feelings for Gaston, making it "a nice, exclusively gay moment in a Disney movie." In the clip below, you'll see him gushing over Gaston and probably coming to a realization that he truly has feelings for his bro.
Speaking of feelings, it seems that Beast is immediately smitten with Belle, as he invites her to dinner in the latest "Beauty and the Beast" clip from Disney. With the help of Lumiere and Mrs. Potts, the Beast tries his best to nicely invite Belle to dinner, as per E! Online. This shows just how Beast can't talk to a girl to save his life.
