'Arrow' Season 5 Spoilers Tease Gender of Prometheus; Why Masked Serial Killer Might Be A Woman
Spoilers for "Arrow" Season 5 have been teasing about the possibility of Prometheus being unmasked when the show returns from its mid-season hiatus. Learn about the reports of a possibility that the big bad Prometheus might be a woman.
Viewers saw a fierce encounter between Prometheus and the Green Arrow in the mid-season premiere of "Arrow" Season 5. After the killing of detective Billy Malone, the team geared up to find the identity of the masked serial killer.
"Arrow" Season 5 Spoilers: Prometheus Could Be A Woman
The mystery of the identity of the character behind the mask of Prometheus is yet to be revealed. Interestingly though, a report published in Collider noted a possible list of suspects.
However, the source also admitted that it is a personal campaign. So, it is not yet certain whether The CW will have a female character in the role of a big bad villain or not. But, there are chances why Susan Williams (Carly Pope) might be Prometheus.
The source also backed up their theory by offering certain logics behind why Susan could turn out to be Prometheus. To start with, she is a shrewd and clever reporter. Moreover, she seems to have an interest in Oliver Queen, played by Stephen Amell and the Green Arrow, his alter ego. Additionally, she was fired in the last episode and this could trigger her desire to take revenge on Oliver.
Other Surprise Suspects In The List
Meanwhile, Billy Malone's name was also featured in the list of suspects, which was a big surprise. Fans are aware that his past is virtually unknown. So, could there be a possibility of him faking his death to avoid being suspected by Team Arrow?
If that is the case, his plans might have been quite fool-proof as viewers saw him dying after multiple arrows hit his chest. According to some other spoilers of "Arrow" Season 5, Prometheus could also be either Tommy (Colin Donnell) or Malcolm (John Barrowman).
Bleeding Cool noted an update made on the Facebook page of John Barrowman. It was reported that the actor proceeded towards the set of "Arrow," just after completing his last day of shooting for DC's "Legends of Tomorrow." Now, is this a coincidence or there is something deeper into it?
