‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Spoilers: Liam Cunningham Gives Details On Baseball Connection; Release Date Delayed

Viewers of "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 might need to wait further, as the release date could be delayed. A cast member from the hit HBO series revealed some spoilers about the upcoming season.

A report from The Huffington Post suggested that "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 will not be released anytime soon. Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth confirmed that "GoT" will be coming to small screens in July.

"I have been disappointing various people around the world because it was meant to come out in April," the Dublin star says. "It is July now, I think."

Liam Cunningham made it clear that the TV series will be aired in July. The actor even stated that there will be some Major League Baseball connections in the show. The partnership will be made, as the "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 will be coming around baseball season, while MLB wants to reach the series' millennial appeal.

"There is going to be a launch and something special happening this year for the premiere," he added. "The bad news is, there will only be seven episodes and the final season starts again as far as I know in September."

"Game Of Thrones" Season 7: Fans Will Wait For Favorite Show  

There is no doubt that the release of "GoT" is still very far, but that would not keep the fans from waiting to see the series. Den of Geek also revealed that the show will only have seven episodes.

The creators of the series would like to delay the production of the next few episodes, since they have to wait for the weather to change following the winter season in "Game Of Thrones." David Benioff and D.B. Weiss previously said in an interview that they will not be able to use the sunny weather in their storyline, which is why they will delay shooting.

“Instead of the show’s traditional spring debut, we are moving the debut to summer to accommodate the shooting schedule," the HBO Programming President, Casey Bloys revealed.

As of this date, the showrunners of "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 is yet to have a confirmed release date.
