The former "Harry Potter" star posed in an inside page of Vanity Fair, where she was just wearing a knitted bolero, with a portion of her breasts partially seen. Critics of the star said that the Emma Watson Vanity Fair pose does not agree with what she has been campaigning for-feminism.

In one Twitter post, a critic said that the photo was one of the reasons why people who call for feminism are not taken seriously. The "Beauty and the Beast" actress then hit back at her critic and defended the Emma Watson Vanity Fair photo. She said in an interview with Reuters that many have a lot of misconceptions and misunderstandings about feminism that she just wants to correct.

"Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with. It's about freedom, it's about liberation, it's about equality. I really don't know what my t-s have to do with it. It's very confusing."
