'Frozen 2': Production Not In Rush; Kristen Bell Reveals Details
Disney's "Frozen 2" will not be arriving anytime soon, as the cast and crew are still working on the upcoming movie. Kristen Bell gives details about the highly anticipated sequel, which seems to be further delayed.
In a report from The Telegraph, Disney already confirmed that "Frozen 2" is actually underway. However, the teasers and posters are still yet to be unveiled by the company. The publication also revealed that the Kristen Bell-starrer will be released before 2019.
"Frozen 2" Is Not In A Rush
The first part, "Frozen" reportedly took two years before it was completed. Thus, the creators are not rushing the release of the movie, since they would love to give the fans another great story. "We are not demanding speed," the CEO of Disney, Robert Iger said back in 2015, "We are demanding excellence."
"Frozen 2" will also be created and directed by Jennifer Lee, who did the original movie. Of course, Olaf will also be returning and will still be voiced by Josh Gad and his character will reportedly have a girlfriend.
In addition, the source also said that Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel will be back in the upcoming movie spinoff. The two actresses were also signed for "Frozen Fever," which is a short sequel of the film. It will be aired for a 2017 Christmas special.
"Frozen 2" Exclusive From Kristen Bell
Meanwhile, Collider unveiled that Kristen Bell shared they have not yet started the production, as the writers are still finishing the story. She also confirmed that there will be a new song for the sequel.
"They are putting the finishing touches on the script. We record, as those characters, often," the actress said. "At the change of season at the parks, whether it is for Disneyland, Epcot, or when Japan opens, we will record new voices for our characters, but we actually haven’t started recording for the second Frozen."
The release date of "Frozen 2" is still unknown, yet it remains to be one of the most awaited sequels. Reports claimed that Disney is concentrating on the production of the character's live-actions. The sequel was announced two years ago, but there has been no confirmation about its release date and even spoilers remained as speculations.
