After a long while of speculation, it has been confirmed: British singing sensation Adele is married to Simon Konecki. The news was spilled during her show in Brisbane, Australia, where it was received well by the audience.

"That feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on Earth," she said in an uploaded video by one of the concertgoers. "And I am addicted to that feeling. Obviously, I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now," she added before belting her international 2011 hit "Someone Like You."

According to People, before Adele married Simon Konecki, the couple first met in 2011, when she was introduced to him by fellow British singer, Ed Sheeran. She first dropped hints of their relationship back in Jan. 2012 via a now-deleted blog post.

The two were also spotted on an airboat ride in Everglades National Park, Florida that same month. It was in June of the same year that she announced they were expecting a baby - Angelo, who was born on Oct. 19, 2012.

But the wedding speculations started back in Jan. of this year, when the 28-year-old Grammy-winning artist was spotted wearing a gold band on her ring finger, according to CNN. And during the Grammy Awards last month, the rumors about Adele married to Simon Konecki became clearer when she thanked her "husband" alongside her son. However, there are no reports yet as to when exactly Adele married Simon Konecki.

New York-born and London-raised Konecki, 42, was a director of a huge trading company before he worked for Lehman Brothers as a team manager, according to The Sun. However, he said goodbye to the corporate world and co-founded Life Water, a brand of bottled water, and set up Drop4Drop, a charity that provides clean water to deprived countries.

Before Adele married Simon Konecki, he was first married to Clary Fisher, a stylist, for four years. They have a daughter together, who is now eight years old.
