‘Naruto Shippuden’ May Have Come To An End, ‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ Reportedly Takes Its Place
One of the most lovable and popular anime series, “Naruto Shippuden” has seem to come to an end. The latest 14th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump has placed a small hint that the finale may be aired on Mar. 23. The episode will be counted as the 500th episode and 720th installment of the “Naruto Shippuden” franchise.
Will “Naruto Shippuden” End This Month?
According to Comicbook, there was no direct indication in the latest issue released by Weekly Shonen Jump to ensure that “Naruto Shippuden” would have its finale on Mar. 23 or if it would be continued afterwards.
But global anime lovers are not ready to accept this recent news that “Naruto Shippuden” may have come to an end. Some other reports also suggest that there is still less chance that this well-loved anime series will either continue to adapt pieces of the Naruto epilogue or something different beyond imagination.
“Naruto Shippuden” will have its final chapter titled “Konoha Hiden,” which is expected to highlight Hinata and Naruto’s wedding. The story will still have two pals in the epicenter, who are giving their best to find suitable gifts for Hinata and Naruto in their wedding, reports Travelers Today.
Apart from this, “Naruto Shippuden” episode 500 is expected to show Hinata and Naruto’s family life. The birth of their children, Himawari and Boruto, may also become an important instance in the finale.
“Naruto Shippuden” May Give Way To “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations”
However, anime aficionados should be excited to know that because of the completion of their favorite series “Naruto Shippuden,” they will get an opportunity to see “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations,” effective Apr. 2017. It is said to mainly emphasize on the journey of Naruto’s son, Boruto. Most importantly, the new series will reportedly feature new angles with new generation ninjas for the upcoming episode of "Naruto Shippuden.”
