In a sudden development, Beau Willimon, creator of "House of Cards" dissed the Twitter accounts of Donald Trump. The showrunner feels that the social media accounts of the President are a threat towards the security of the United States.
"House of Cards" Showrunner Feels Trump's Twitter Accounts Should Be Removed
The Showrunner recently targeted Trump's Twitter accounts. He said that the two accounts of Trump, namely @POTUS and @realDonaldTrump should be deleted by the social media network.
Willimon slammed the President of the United States through a chain of tweets. He opines that Trump has utilized social media for making "misleading claims" and also to threaten the sovereign states, the public and the press. Willimon mentioned in one of his tweets:

The showrunner for "House of Cards" further added that removing the President's two social media accounts will not be a measure to curb free speech. He said that Trump can speak whatever he wants to.
According to Fox News, Willimon's recent remarks on Trump was in response to the latter's tweet over the weekend. Trump had tweeted that Obama, the former US President had wiretapped him at the Trump Tower, prior to his victory in the presidential elections held last Nov. 2016.
"House of Cards" Season 5 Latest Updates
Meanwhile, the hit Netflix show previously declared the premiere date of season 5 , while the inauguration ceremony of Trump took place. The show is expected to return on May 30, which is three months trailing behind its usual date of premiere.
In the past, the show always premiered in the month of Feb. Some reports suggested that the delay this time happened due to the alterations in the show's producers and cast.
It is being said that Willimon will not head "House of Cards" Season 5. Writers Frank Pugliese and Melissa James Gibson will be seen in the role of showrunners in the upcoming season.
While Kevin Spacey will reprise the character of President Frank Underwood, viewers will see Robin Wright as Claire Underwood, the First Lady. Paul Sparks (Thomas Yates), Joel Kinnaman (Will Conway), Neve Campbell (LeAnn Harvey) and Michael Kelly (Doug Stamper) will all return for the upcoming season as well.
