'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered': Activision Announces Variety Map Pack Arriving This Month
In Nov. last year, Infinity Ward and Activision released "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC - nine years after the original game was released. This year marks the game's tenth anniversary, and with it, Activision announces the Variety Map pack arriving this month.

Players of the remastered version can now enjoy as much as four new maps that have been available for "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare." According to IGN, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" can get the Variety Map Pack for $15 when it arrives on Mar. 21.
Players must note however, that the expansion will arrive first to PlayStation 4 as part of Activision's exclusive deal with Sony, and will arrive to Xbox One and PC at a later date. With the Variety Map Pack, players can explore four new maps, namely Broadcast, Chinatown, Killhouse, and Creek.
What To Expect From Pack?
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" players who get their hands on the Variety Map Pack on Mar. 21 will be able to explore Broadcast, which gets inspiration from teh TV station in the "Charlie Don't Surf" campaign mission. It features confined corridors, as well as wide-open spaces. Meanwhile, Chinatown is set at night in a foggy downtown district that is only illuminated by neon signs and the moon in the sky.
Killhouse, one of the maps in the Variety Map Pack for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered," features a small training warehouse that will challenge players in firefights. Lastly, Creek features open clearings and cliffs, as well as lush forests.
Gamespot reported that the Variety Map Pack will also come with 10 "Rare" supply drops that feature cosmetic items, which are regularly obtained by spending real money.
