‘Prison Break’ Season 5 Update: Michael Scofield’s Recognition As Terrorist Intensifies Dark Plot

As we are coming closer to the premiere of “Prison Break” Season 5, fans are getting more excited - mainly with the release of various updates surrounding the series. The recently declared official title “Resurrection” is adequate to multiply plenty of speculations, as the fourth season already ended with an absolute cliffhanger almost a decade back.

Why is “Prison Break” Season 5 Different?

“Prison Break” Season 5 is expected to be a completely different or very special for many reasons. One of the main ones is because Wentworth Miller’s character, Michael Scofield was presumed dead in the previous season. The upcoming season will show him alive and may probably deal with the story of how he was saved.

Second, a recently released dark poster tagged “First, it was a prison, now, it’s a nation,” is another important reason why “Prison Break” Season 5 is going to be very special. This time, the plot is certainly made very complex with plenty of twists and turns and Michael Scofield’s probable link with a terrorist may truly make the plot very dark and filled with suspense.

“Prison Break” Season 5 To Solve Multiple Mysteries

According to Movie Pilot, Dana Walden, Chairman and CEO of Fox Television Group, assured that “Prison Break” Season 5 or “Prison Break: Resurrection” will endow with believable and logical explanations to let viewers know “why and how the characters are still alive and still roaming round the world.”

What we have come to know from a recently released trailer of the upcoming “Prison Break” Season 5 is that Michael Scofield is not only alive, he is being detained for the last few years in the foreign land of Ogygia. He is not detained by his own name but as a terrorist named Kaniel Outis, reports Stars Post. Let’s wait and watch how Scofield is able to break out of prison.

“Prison Break” Season 5 is expected to hit TV screens on Apr. 4, 2017.
