A tough phase seems to be going on for one of the most famous South Korean television series “Descendants of the Sun” Season 2. The series is already loaded with plenty of cancellation and cast exit reports and speculations.

Despite all these, we don’t find any contraction in the demand for the much-awaited “Descendants of the Sun” Season 2. Recent news encircling this Korean drama series claim that the showrunners and producers are signing deals with more Korean big stars - including “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” actor, Park Bo Gum.

Apart from Park Bo Gum, “The Sound of Your Heart” actor, Song Joong Ki’s name is also in the list. According to Korea Portal, Park Bo Gum and Song Joong Ki attended a fan meet event in Thailand during mid of Feb., where the “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” actor expressed his desire to play the lead role in “A Werewolf Boy.” Within a few days, multiple speculations started creating headlines that both actors are going to play important characters in the highly popular Korean drama “Descendants of the Sun” Season 2.

Will Song Hye Kyo Work With Song Joong Ki In “Descendants of the Sun” Season 2?

Other reports suggested that “Full House” actress, Song Hye Kyo will accompany Song Joong Ki to play the role of parents in the upcoming “Descendants of the Sun” Season 2, whereas Park Bo Gum’s character or role is still unclear.

MStars News reports that “Descendants of the Sun” Season 2 might get other Korean stars in the roster. Some of them may be Park Shin Hye, Lee Jong Suk, and Suzy Bae - although their casting in the sequel is still not confirmed. Stay tuned with us to get more updates on the Korean television series.
