According to a recent report from Pop Sugar, Nina Dobrev reprises her role as Elena and Katherine, which is expected to bring back a lot of emotions. Fans are reportedly happy that she will be able to bid goodbye during the finale of "TVD."

In the latest episode, Stefan and Caroline tied the knot, and for a brief moment everything was right in the world, until Matt Donovan's mother steps up and makes a speech. Presumed dead all this time, she talks of Katherine's plans to take down the entire town with the use of the Maxwell Bell, as well as a Maxwell descendant, Vicki Donovan.

While Vicki wreaks havoc, Bonnie and Stefan meet again after Stefan killed Enzo. Bonnie was able to escape with her rediscovered magic but felt her head pound and she was last seen lying on the floor.

As the series draw to a close, a lot of expectations are set for the series, as they come with a strong last season. According to TV Guide, there are still a lot of things to be tackled in the one-hour finale. A happy ending for Elena and Damon is one thing that viewers are looking forward to and the same can be said for Nina Dobrev's return.

Meanwhile, a reunion for Bonnie and Enzo would be appropriate, since there have been hints of Bonnie's unfortunate demise. Finally, seeing Alaric happy would be great, as he has been through a lot in Mystic Falls.

A scene with the power trio Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie - the return of familiar faces, and Klaus are some of the things fans hope to see in the series ender. Other things viewers can look forward to is more of the brotherly love between the Salvatores and Bonnie finally forgiving Stefan.
