‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5’ International Trailer Hints Johnny Depp & Orlando Bloom May Reunite For Next Flick
The "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" international trailer is out and for the first time, it seems that this will not be the last movie from the franchise. Rather, the fifth installment will not be the last one for Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow and Orlando Bloom's Will Turner.
Incidentally, Disney planned the franchise to only have three movies. Surprisingly it outlived the trilogy decision and now, production is gearing up to release its fifth sequel titled, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales." In the third installment when the movie bid farewell to Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley's love story, everyone thought that it would be the last one from the franchise.
However, Screen Rant reported that it was just a segue for the character of Captain Jack Sparrow to continue. And now, Disney is out with its latest international trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean 5," that hints somehow about another flick showing Depp and Bloom reprising their same roles as in the previous movies of the franchise.
'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' New Trailer Update
An explosive trailer was revealed during the Super Bowl, showing Javier Bardem as the main antagonist. He plays the role of the deadly Captain Salazar. However, it was more interesting to see some familiar faces return, including that of Orlando Bloom, who was previously thought to be dead. The new international trailer can be said to be the condensed form of the Super Bowl release.
However, the latest "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" international trailer shows young Johnny Depp as Sparrow and also unveils some interesting action set-pieces - including gun fights, naval warfare, and over rooftops chase sequences. According to Comicbook, other stars in the fifth installment include Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites, and Golshifteh Farahami.
Johnny Depp And Orlando Bloom May Return For Next Installment
A recent comment from co-director Joachim Ronning suggesting that "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" may not be the last movie from the franchise indicated that Depp and Bloom may return to reprise their iconic roles in the next sequel. Although, the tagline of the current flick says, "final adventure," it seems that the production team is not ready to close the chapter as of yet.
