The Guardians and the Avengers will collaborate even before the debut of the "Avengers: Infinity War" film next year. Meanwhile, spoilers for "Guardians of the Galaxy" Season 2 tease that the new season will see both the teams come together.

Promo Hints Face-off between Guardians And Avengers

The latest promo for "Guardians of the Galaxy" Season 2 is out and shows that all is not well between the Avengers and the Guardians. Rather than getting united, the two sides will face one another in a battle.

The promo teases an exciting face-off between the Hulk and Groot (Kevin Michael Richardson). A second fight could also take place between Star-Lord (Will Friedle) and Captain America. Followers of both camps feel that it is logical for them to enter into a conflict, as both are charismatic leaders of their teams.

But it seems that the tension between both sides will be a short-lived one. Blastr shared the synopsis of the premiere episode of season 2, which also discusses a similar theory.

More Spoilers For "Guardians of the Galaxy"

The premiere episode of "Guardians of the Galaxy" Season 2 is scheduled to air for an hour. It is also expected that it will be a two-part episode. Collider has come out with two different synopses for both parts of the hour-long premiere episode.

In the first part, the Avengers and the Guardians will have a face-off that has its roots in Theo's asteroid. When the Guardians try to discard it, they find that it is available in the Avengers' secure facility. But, the second part of the premiere episode will find that both the teams resolving their differences and coming together. They come together to find out the mystery of the asteroid.
