"The Voice" Coach Gwen Stefani Explains Why Working With Shelton Is A Blessing

Gwen Stefani was quite candid as she spoke to Entertainment Tonight, while attending the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles, this Saturday, Mar. 11.

The 47-year-old musician said that initially, she did go through jitters but then it was quite fun to judge the show with her beau on the hit NBC musical competition. The singer said she was slightly nervous in the beginning, with the prospect of participating in the same show with Shelton.

Stefani told the outlet that she then thought, "This is going to be weird!" She added that "the show is so real....." She feels that being around her boyfriend "is a blessing" in itself. She attended the event with her three sons and they all seemed to be having a great time, Daily Mail wrote.

Gwen Stefani Confessed It Was 'Weird' Initially

Shelton and his girlfriend are going strong in their relationship of over a year now. Their affection for one another is quite apparent. The couple is exhibiting their romance every week in "The Voice" Season 12, Rare us noted.

But despite so, Stefani confessed things were not the same when she reunited with her beau in the current season of the show. Incidentally, this is the same television show that had brought them together in the first place.

Shelton and Stefani have already proclaimed their feelings for each other and use affectionate terms of endearment for one another. Shelton was busy with his performance in San Diego. His next stop is Evansville, Indiana on Mar.16, followed by Chicago on Mar 17.
