A report from BuddyTV said that Nathan Riggs has finally asked Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) to go on a date in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13. However, Meredith told him that she needed to think about it first.

Meredith tried seeing other guys after Derek (Patrick Dempsey) passed away. Unfortunately, those relationships did not work out. The publication insisted that Nathan and Meredith's tandem could work this time because of their chemistry. Their relationship might work because of their experiences in life, especially because of their tragic losses.

According to Us Weekly, Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary) decided to talk to Meredith after her tough conversation with Riggs. The two women pictured how Riggs feel daily, as she could relate with Rigg's feelings after McDreamy's passing.

“When Derek died, there was one day where I did not know where he was,” Meredith said. “I pretended everything was going to be OK, but inside, I was going crazy. I guess it is like that for Nathan every day.”

However, the episode made fans unhappy. They started talking about the episode on social media saying how soon he passed away in the show. "When Derek died.." that hit me like a... truck. Too soon? #greysanatomy, a Twitter user wrote.
