'Agents of SHIELD' Season 5 Spoilers: Deep Connection With Marvel's Metahumans Possible
Anticipation is building up among fans for knowing more about "Agents of SHIELD." But it appears that the show may have an important influence in the form of Marvel's "Inhumans," since an artifact links the two series.
Possible Connection Between "Agents of SHIELD" And Marvel "Inhumans"
According to a report from Screen Rant, some set images from Marvel hinted at a connection with "Agents of SHIELD." The outlet referred to a tweet by Carlos Robles (@CrlRbs) who had posted some pictures from the set. The pictures shared consisted of alien writing, which appeared in "Agents of SHIELD" Season 2 and seems to be used for the sake of "Inhumans."
When one of his followers asked about the source of the pictures, Robles confirmed that they were taken on the sets of "Inhumans" in Hawaii. "Agents of SHIELD" was the first TV series to bring in the "Inhumans" to television.
ABC and Marvel did not confirm whether there is a link between the two shows or not. So, it is better to take the discussion with caution.
Renewal Chances For "Agents of SHIELD" Season 5
At present, season 4 is on a hiatus and will return in Apr. this year for its third and final pod. Though season 4 had a strong start when Gabriel Luna's "Ghost Rider" made an entry, there is still uncertainty about its renewal.
TVLine had published an article in Feb., where it noted that the probability of is renewal stands at fifty-fifty. The outlet also explained that since the show is packed with so many good characters, it may still get an extension.
Whatever may be the eventual outcome, the date of the show will be known when ABC makes a formal declaration. It has been a convention for several networks to announce their shows' cancellations or renewals in the month of May.
Meanwhile, "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 will return to TV screens on Apr. 4, 10 p.m., on ABC.
