LaVar Ball Believes His Sons Deserve A $1 B Paycheck For Endorsements [VIDEO]

LaVar Ball has again courted attention in the basketball world. He announced that his sons will only be available for endorsements to the tune of $1B.

The Ball brothers are slowly making a name for themselves. USA Today reported that Lonzo, the eldest, is paving the way for his brothers who are still in high school. He plays in the NCAA for UCLA where he has great numbers for a freshman; he has averaged 14.6 points, 7.7 assists and 6.1 rebounds in his NCAA debut season. His brothers LiAngelo and LaMelo are both super talented Chino Hills High players that they have committed to UCLA this early in their careers.

LaVar Ball in his usual self has even declared his eldest is better than Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors. The Chicago Tribune reported that even basketball legend and Hall of Fame awardee Michael Jordan has not escaped the senior Ball's braggadocio. He claimed that Jordan cannot get past him during his stint in the NBA.

Beyond all his loud talk, what he really does best is get people to talk about his sons. LaVar Ball doesn't agree that his comments are doing his sons harm. His sons are thriving in their games; Lonzo's college averages are great and his Chino Hills boys have both top scored in games.

LaVar Ball had never played in the NBA though. He had just played college ball (one season with Washington State and then transferred to Cal State- Los Angeles) and met his future wife Tina, also a basketball player for Cal State-LA. It was here that LaVar formed his dream of building a basketball empire.

Up until one of the boys get in the NBA, they remain the Kardashians of the basketball world. Only then will LaVar Ball be able to back up his claims.
