‘House Of Cards’ Season 5 Update: Series Will Have 13 Episodes; Cast Details & Addition Of New Showrunners
Fans will be excited to know that highly acclaimed “House of Cards” Season 5 will come back on May 30, 2017. It has been a few days since Netflix made the declaration through a video teaser of its airing and finally debunked the buzz surrounding its cancellation.
Regarding the cancellation buzz, it was probably created when series executive producer and showrunner, Beau Willimon left “House of Cards” in Jan. of the previous year. He then focused to establish and lead a political action committee against President Donald Trump. This is what he did after giving up his future work on “House of Cards” Season 5, as reported by Travelers Today.

Initially, Netflix was absolutely silent about the renewal of “House of Cards” Season 5. Hence, there was no expectations from the streaming service to reveal any information, in terms of storyline and cast.
It was like a waiting game for both Netflix and “House of Cards” executives, who had their eyes glued on the inauguration of President Donald Trump in Jan. Once it was over, the release date for “House of Cards” Season 5 was announced. Now, it is being said that the series will be having only 13 episodes.

Now, Counsel & Heal has come to know that actors like Michael Kelly, Robin Wright, and Kevin Spacey - are reprising the roles of Doug Stamper, Claire Underwood, and Frank Underwood respectively in “House of Cards” Season 5. On the other hand, the exit of Beau Willimon has paved the way for Frank Pugliese and Melissa James Gibson to work for the series as co-showrunners. Earlier, Campbell Scott and Patrica Clarkson have been selected to play important roles in the fifth season, reports The News Recorder.
“House of Cards” Season 5 will be aired on Netflix on May 30, 2017.
