Though there is still some time left for the airing of "Riverdale" Episode 8, several theories are floating as to who could be the murderer of Jason Blossom (Trevor Stines). Get to know if there is a possibility that FP Jones (Skeet Ulrich) is the actual culprit.

"Riverdale" Episode 8: Reasons For Suspecting FP

It was in episode 4 titled "The Last Picture Show," when viewers saw Jughead's (Cole Sprouse) father for the first time. But more prominence was given to the character in "Riverdale" Episode 7, which was titled "In a Lonely Place."

Jason's jacket was traced in FP's closet in that episode. The jacket was first found by Jughead and Betty (Lili Reinhart) in episode 6 inside Jason's car. But when the policemen reached the spot, his car was already set to fire.

So, the jacket would have invariably got burnt as well. Will the upcoming episode show FP's involvement in the death of the kid?  But nothing can be said with certainty at this point of time.

While the jacket's discovery could be a vital clue to reveal Jason's killer, Screen Rant mentioned that there are certain factors that go against the theory that FP could be the murderer. The man is an alcoholic, which makes him relatively less functional as compared to others in "Riverdale." The outlet also argued that his physical fitness makes him an inappropriate match against the fit and young Jason Blosom.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the executive producer of the series mentioned to Entertainment Weekly: "Moving forward, Jughead and his dad's relationships becomes one of the bedrocks of the season. There are definitely twists and turns to it, but he's very much in the hot seat from this point moving forward..."

Synopsis For "Riverdale" Episode 8

The synopsis for episode 8 indicates that the entire town may learn about FP's involvement with the Southside Serpents. The said episode will also feature the plan of Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Betty to give a baby shower to Polly. However, the idea does not seem to thrill Polly too much.
