It's time for Ellen Pompeo to prove her skills behind the camera, as the actress is all set to make her directorial debut in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13. The actress recently teased that she will be directing a heartbreaking episode.

Fans love her in the lead role as Meredith Grey and now she will debut as a director in ABC's medical drama. Moreover, Pompeo teased that her episode will be titled "Be Still, My Soul" and it will surely make viewers weep.

She also confessed that though this is the first time, she is not shaky about directing an episode for the talented cast that she has. Pompeo admitted that it is the technical aspects that bother her more than filming the scenes.

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, the actress thanked her co-star and mentor Debbie Allen (Catherine Avery) who convinced her to accept the challenge of direction. Incidentally, Allen is also the executive producer of "Grey's Anatomy."

When Entertainment Weekly asked Pompeo about how she felt directing an episode, the actress replied, "Not fun, but I was lucky to have Debbie Allen right with me every step of the way, so when I was tired or confused, she jumped in."

The episode directed by Pompeo will be aired on Mar. 30, It will feature Maggie's adoptive mother (LaTonya Richardson Jackson), who will be undergoing a treatment in the hospital for breast cancer. Indeed, it sounds like a tearjerker of an episode.

The finale episode of Season 13 is expected to be "hot". When Sarah Drew was asked about whether April and Jackson will rekindle their romance or not, she had an interesting response. Drew said irrespective of whether they want to stay platonic or romance once again, the co-parenting couple will be alright.
