'The Flash' Season 4 Spoilers: Barry Allen's First-Time Collision With Evil Sorcerer As The Big Bad Guy; He Is Different

Unlike the earlier seasons, Barry Allen will have opposition from a completely different villain in "The Flash" Season 4. The main bad villain is likely to be a sorcerer this time around.

"The Flash" Season 4 To Have A Sorcerer As The Main Villain

The Flash/Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) had to fight speedsters in the earlier two seasons and also in the ongoing season 3. However, in the fourth installment of this superhero television series, the Speedster has to get even with a sorcerer and not a zooming villain.

Andrew Kreisberg, the executive producer of the show revealed in the PaletFest Panel that viewers will not see a speedster as the key bad guy in "The Flash" Season 4. The Hollywood Reporter noted that his declaration was greeted with a loud cheer and applause.

Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh/Matt Letscher) was the main villain in "The Flash" Season 1. In season 2, viewers saw Zoom (Teddy Sears) as the bad guys The current season has God of Speed Savitar (Andre Tricoteux) as Barry Allen's main adversary.

Meanwhile, the EP also confirmed that Season 4 will have Abra Kadabra. He announced the same wihile addressing the crowd in PaletFest. The character will be portrayed by David Dastmalchian. Abra Kadabra is a sorcerer with great power. He uses his magic spells to accomplish anything he desires.

Kreisberg added, "He's a longtime comic book villain of the Flash, and we finally got him onto the show, and we're really excited about that." The EP further added, "There's a lot of fun stuff coming up, and a lot of comic book nods..."

DC Comics noted that the debut of Abra Kadabra will take place in the series later this season. Previously, Dastmalchian was seen as Jerome's assistant Dwight Pollard in "Gotham", another DC television series.

Airing Of Much-Awaited "The Flash-Supergir" Crossover

Finally, the music crossover airs this week. It kicked off in "Supergirl" on Monday. Mar. 20 and in "The Flash" on Tuesday, Mar. 21 on The CW. It is interesting to note that a crossover song was written by Justin Paul and Benj Pasek who also worked in "La La Land."
