'Diablo 3' News: Blizzard Releases Update 2.5.0, Features Armory, Crafting Options; Seasons To Be Available On Consoles
"Diablo 3" has been around for quite some time now, but as Blizzard releases Update 2.5.0, there are more reasons to head back to the game and enjoy it even more. Update 2.5.0 features Armory, crafting options, and even brings seasons to consoles. "Diablo 3" was first released in May 2012, and since then, Blizzard continued to support the game with new content. Now that Update 2.5.0 is out, there's now even more content to explore.
The Armory For Storing Character Builds
According to Gamespot, Blizzard announced a "Diablo 3" feature called Armory last year during BlizzCon, and that feature has arrived with Update 2.5.0. The Armory is a unique new feature that enables players to store up to five different builds for each of the player's characters. This will let players easily swap through gears, skills, gems, and runes. As Blizzard releases Update 2.5.0, players should also expect crafting options.
"Diablo 3" players should anticipate that crafting materials will no longer be in the inventory and will have its own area instead. Materials that are gathered will automatically be stored in this new area. As per PC Gamer, there are also slight changes to the Crusader and Barbarian classes, but the major changes are in the Armory and crafting options.
Seasons Coming To Consoles Soon
Seasons are to be available on consoles, as per Engadget. "Diablo 3" players who are on Xbox and PlayStation will now be able to enjoy the Seasons feature beginning Mar. 31. This feature is enjoyable because it lets players level up and upgrade gear faster than with a character from a higher level.
All players need to do is create a new character and classify it as Seasonal and off they go on a looting adventure. Meanwhile, Update 2.5.0 also features several cosmetic upgrades, rewards, and user interface tweaks for "Diablo 3" players. To keep up with the latest on "Diablo 3," make sure to bookmark this page.
