"RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 9 will debut on Mar. 24, 2017. Here are the latest updates about "RuPaul's Drag Race."

The ninth season of the longtime reality competition finds a new home. Viacom opted for "rebranding"for its lineup of networks and channels, including Logo. After airing for eight seasons, the show will migrate to VH1.

Logo's SVP Orignal Programming & Development Pamela Post shared a statement about this update. According to her, VH1 will be beneficial for the show and viewers. It will "allow more fans to experience the energy, heart and talent these fierce Queens bring to the stage every week."

RuPaul and mentor Michelle Visage will return to judge the performances on the show. According to Logo, 13 drag queens are set to fight for $100,000 cash prize. Only one winner will ultimately win the title as "America's Drag Superstar."

Season 9 will include Aja, Alexis Michelle, Charlie Hides, Eureka O’Hara, Farrah Moan, Jaymes Mansfield, Kimora Blac. The other performers are Nina Bo’nina Brown, Peppermint, Sasha Velour, Shea Coulee, Trinity Taylor, and Valentina.

"RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 9 will have a highly-anticipated lineup of guest judges. Considered as the biggest star yet, Lady Gaga makes a rare TV appearance to meet the contestants.

Aside from Gaga, Meghan Trainor and Kesha are also part of the pool of judges. It will include TV bigwigs such as Lisa Kudrow, Tori Spelling, and Naya Rivera among others.

Deadline reported that RuPaul will work alongside J. J. Abrams for a biopic based on his life. In addition to this, the famed host recently married his partner, Georges LeBar.
