Despite having been involved and broken up a long time ago, actor Jake Gyllenhaal still could not escape questions about his former beau, Taylor Swift. Thus, a recent interview turned icy and awkward when responding to such questions.

It can be recalled that 36-year-old actor, Jake Gyllenhaal used to date one of the most famous and yet controversial singers of today’s generation, Taylor Swift. The latter has been known to write songs about her past romances, not saving Jake from the spotlight at all. It has been rumored that Taylor Swift’s songs like “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” “Red,” and All Too Well” was reportedly written to describe her relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal.

Jake Gyllenhaal Refuses To Spill Details About Taylor Swift

However, Jake Gyllenhaal has always been keen on his privacy, as reported by Us Weekly. He claims that he is not necessarily a guarded person, but believes in the privacy of intimacy, hence his relationships, including Taylor Swift.

However, the interviewer then asked him why he would opt to date someone like Swift, when everyone pretty much knows and is aware of her tendencies to make her relationships public through her songs. The interviewer even hinted that dating Swift would have been a lot like playing with fire for what Gyllenhaal has done.

Swift And Her Other Other Past Relationships

Other than Gyllenhaal, Swift has also been reported to have dated famous singer John Mayer and allegedly wrote about him in her songs. For one to be exact was containing the lyrics “Don’t you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games?” to which Mayer was highly embarrassed about, as reported by E! Online.

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal’s relationship lasted for about three months back in 2010. The “Life” actor started to respond to the question, however stopped and stared at the interviewer intensely before he could finish the sentence; then just shrugged it off, with uncomfortable silence that followed.
