The weekend was an exciting one for DC fans all over the world, as Warner Bros. finally unveiled the trailer for the upcoming highly anticipated "Justice League." The film follows Ben Affleck's Batman as he rounds up some superheroes to defend the Earth from a yet-undefined evil force.

But if you think that Batman is the glue that sticks the whole story together, it may not be the case. In fact, Zack Synder recently admitted that Ray Fisher's Cyborg is the "heart of the movie" in the upcoming DC flick.

Why Cyborg?

In a recent chat with USA Today, "Justice League" director Zack Snyder admitted that while each of the characters really brought something to the table in the narrative, Ray Fisher's Cyborg is the "heart of the movie" in upcoming DC flick. The upcoming film will give viewers a glimpse of each of the new characters' back story, but it seems that the story that has the most heart is Ray Fisher's Cyborg. It may be the case that "Justice League" will delve more into the lesser known superhero among the squad, as both Aquaman and The Flash are getting their own standalone films.

Cyborg And Batman

According to Comicbook, Ray Fisher's Cyborg is the "heart of the movie" in the upcoming DC flick because it will delve more into how the character is still dealing with his newfound powers. He is also the youngest in the squad and his superpowers will also bring forth certain difficulties, unlike Batman who already has many years of experience as the Dark Knight in "Justice League."

As Ray Fisher's Cyborg is the "heart of the movie" in upcoming DC flick, fans of "Justice League" will look forward to seeing the "Batman v Superman" cast return to the big screen. Among them include Amy Adams, who reprises her Lois Lane role, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth.

Fans will also get to see new faces in the form of JK Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Amber Heard as Mera, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf, and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West. "Justice League" opens this Nov. 17.
