This year, Carey took a more relaxing journey to celebrate by renting out a private villa in the tropical place. This is according to a report posted by Entertainment Tonight.

The singer affirmed her romantic involvement with Tanaka to the Associated Press in Feb., letting the press know that he was her boyfriend. The singer also stated that she certainly don't talk about her personal life.
