‘Avatar 2’ Update: Know Why Waiting A Decade Is Reasonable; Movie To Start Where Plot Ended

It is needless to say that science fiction movie fans are deeply hurt once again when James Cameron recently declared that “Avatar 2” will not be released in 2018. This postponing did not happen for the first time in the last eight years, since the release of the original movie and now it seems “Avatar” fans have gotten accustomed with it.

Earlier, fans thought that James Cameron and his team members have already commenced production for “Avatar 2,” as it was based on some actor’s comment to the media. But now, the main actors of this much-anticipated movie, Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington have given an update about the progress added with the piece of information that the production will actually commence in Aug. 2017.

Is A Decade Waiting For “Avatar 2” Reasonable?

According to a detailed report released by We Got This Covered, Sam Worthington (who played the role of Jake Sully in the original movie) said that the upcoming “Avatar 2” will be filled with plenty of unique things that fans have never experienced before. From his words, it seems long wait for around a decade for all of us is justified and reasonable. It is further said that Cameron and his production team are incessantly immersing in new concepts and something completely, new which fans are still not able to imagine.

“Avatar 2” Will Start After Eight Years Where It Ended In The Original Movie

The actor further revealed that the story of “Avatar 2” will start after around eight years where the original movie ended, hence this will result his character Jake Sully be encircled with family members. He also disclosed that Jake will still be like a kid in the second sequel although he has already walked on the planet for several years, reports Korea Portal.

We are still waiting for the new release date for “Avatar 2” but it is said that the team is also working concurrently on “Avatar 3” and “Avatar 4.”
