'Spider-Man: Homecoming': Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts May Appear in Upcoming Film

In 2016, Marvel blessed fans with the amazing action film that was "Captain America: Civil War." The film earned over a billion dollars at the box office, earning its title as one of the best Marvel flicks to date. Now, get ready for "Spider-man: Homecoming." 

With it came the introduction of a new Spider-man in the form of Tom Holland's teen interpretation of the character. This year, he's getting his standalone endeavor in the form of "Spider-man: Homecoming," which is slated to arrive this July 7. The latest news surrounding the highly anticipated movie is that Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts may appear in upcoming film.

Iron Man Characters In New Spidey Movie

"Spider-man: Homecoming" will see the return of Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark as Peter Parker's mentor and gadget-provider. In the just-released trailer for the film, fans were able to get a glimpse of what type of relationship Tony Stark and Peter Parker have in the film. Seeing that this is an extension of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it would be interesting to find out it Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts will appear in upcoming film.

Pepper Potts To Appear?

According to Screenrant, Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts may return to the big screen in "Spider-man: Homecoming." If she will indeed make an appearance in the upcoming film, this will be her first foray back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe after her stint in "Iron Man 3" back in 2013.

In other "Spider-man: Homecoming" news, fans need not worry about Tom Holland not being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after this film, as he's signed on for at least three solo films. In addition, Forbes reported that producer Amy Pascal said that there is at least one more "Spider-Man" film planned as part of the Sony-Marvel partnership. In the meantime, "Spider-man: Homecoming" will arrive this July 7.
