Episode 20 is titled "A Bowl of Cherries" and will be airing on the CBS next week. Spoilers claim that this one could be a big one for Alex Quinn, the character played by Jennifer Esposito.

The synopsis of "NCIS" Season 14 Episode 20 is now out and states that the laptop of a vice admiral has been infected by ransomware. He approaches McGee and the rest of the team to locate the hacker. The invader has to be tracked before his professional and personal files are destroyed by the virus.

The upcoming episode will also feature Alex, who will take some time out to help her mom Marie Quinn (Mercedes Ruehi). The latter will be at a loss after getting a "911" text.

There are big expectations from the next episode in terms of the quality of the content. After all, the crime drama will go for a brief hiatus post Episode 20 in the month of Apr., CarterMatt reported.

Episode 19' which was aired this week was titled "The Wall." Viewers will remember that the promo of the said episode hinted at a murder mystery that was required to be solved by the team.

The clip also teased a deep secret between Torres and Alex. The sneak peek also featured Tim McGee (Sean Murray) in conversation with Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham), claiming that he has some big news.

Meanwhile, the episode saw O'Leary brutally murdering Corporal Beck and Maya using an exotic technique, TV Fanatic wrote. The motive behind the murder of these characters was supposed to be the end result of the answer to the issue of contaminated flooring. The reasons for the killing appeared to be a bit too much according to some reports,

What came as a surprise was there were multiple other story lines that ran simultaneously in this episode. However, considering the various aspects, they were all well-balanced.
