Though there is still some time left to enjoy the premiere of "Outlander" Season 3, some interesting tidbits have been teased by the show's official armorer. Meanwhile, one of the most burning questions in the minds of viewers include how long it will take for Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe's Characters to reunite on screen.

Jim Elliot is assigned to the official weapons used as props for the series ever since it started in 2014. He is the key person who has been responsible for pouring life into the action-packed scenes from the battle.

Eliot shared that it has been a "daunting" task for him to prepare for the Battle of Culloden in "Outlander" Season 3, since it is one of the most anticipated moments for the series. Eliot also explained that they had gotten four trucks of weapons to film the battle sequences, ET reported.

He added, "Seven hundred weapons on a daily basis for two weeks [shooting on the field] and then pick-ups and green screens. It was long days, but enjoyable and I hope it looks great on screen."

When season 2 ended, viewers found Claire, who was then about 50-year-old, making up her mind to go back in time to reunite with Jamie. The couple has been separated from each other for two decades.

Does that signify that the fans have to wait for many episodes before they see Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe reunite on screen? Or, will the premiere episode of season 3 send Claire back quite fast?

Now, whatever happens, the wait will be worth it, Mashable noted. One can just hope that the writers do not delay the most-awaited scene too much.

In other news, it will be also interesting to know how Jamie spent those years during Claire's absence in his life. Did he have other partners to fill the void in his life? After all, the dashing character has hardly ever lacked attention from the fairer sex.
