‘Wreck-It Ralph 2’ Update: Director Teases Details; Plot Starts Six Years Where It Ended

With only a year left for the release of “Wreck-It Ralph 2” - officially titled as “Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.” Walt Disney’s 3D animated fantasy comedy movie is a sequel to 2012’s blockbuster animated movie, “Wreck-It Ralph.”

The upcoming Walt Disney fantasy comedy film, “Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” is already under development. The film is a sequel to 2012’s super blockbuster film, directed by Rich Moore. There were lots of major updates unveiled about the forthcoming film at the prestigious event of CinemaCon.

What The Director Said About “Wreck-It Ralph 2” At CinemaCon

Rich Moore opined at the CinemaCon that although he was fully in love with the setting of “Wreck-It Ralph,” the original movie, they all wanted to move the sequel in a different direction. “To take these characters we love and have them enter the enormous world of the internet has given us so much to explore,” Moore added, as reported by Polygon.

His comments were adequate to give a hint that he and his top members were quite interested about bringing Ralph to a larger setting, instead of just leaving him trapped in an arcade game. According to Entertainment Weekly, Moore and his team actually wanted the theme of the Internet in an imaginary way. Their intention was to reflect the idea of their film and feature Ralph into modern age.

What More Can Be Expected From The Movie

Animation lovers will get to see the plot of “Wreck-It Ralph 2” beginning after six years where the original movie of the franchise ended. Few reports suggested that the upcoming movie will be based on Ralph’s adventurous voyage into the world of technology. He will be seen traveling the Internet data space during the time when a wi-fi router is inadvertently kept in the arcade.

“Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” will hit the big screen on Mar. 9, 2018.
