Created by Paul Scheuring, it will continue the storyline from 2005 until 2009. The showrunner and Marty Adelstein, Neal H. Moritz and Dawn Olmstead. They will join the other EPs Shaun Wilmott, Michael Horowitz, and Nelson McCormick.

"Ogyvia" marks the return of Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) from his supposed death. Nelson McCormick ("Prom Night") wrote the episode with the script from Paul Scheuring.
Eight years had passed and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purell) wanted to find out if Michael is alive. He seeks the help of Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) to track Michael. Sucre, T-Bag, and C-Note join them as they plan for Michael's greatest escape yet.
According to the synopsis from Futon Critic, their escape led them to Ogyvia in Yemen. It shares the name of the fictional island where Odyssey was detained. "Prison Break" Season 5 includes the timeline in which Yemen is part of an ongoing civil war.
Robert Knepper On The Premiere Of "Prison Break" Season 5
Knepper plays the role of Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell, a main character in the show. Before joining the team, T-Bag is one of the most notorious leaders of a racist gang.
The actor expressed his thanks to everyone who had helped to keep "Prison Break" alive. He added that despite taking several years of break, it kept resonating with the fans.
"To have this thing launch again for the people who wanted to escape," Knepper told Access Hollywood. "and also who wanted something of the old but also some of the new as well."
In other news, former "Prison Break" cast member, Cress Williams has a new role. He previously took the role of Wyatt Matthewson. Cress Williams will play as DC's Black Lightning who can control and manipulate electricity.
