‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5’: Trailer Shows Orlando Bloom’s Return; Captain Salazar Eliminates More Pirates
The latest trailer released for “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) has recently hit YouTube with details that Orlando Bloom will again be playing the character of Will Turner in the movie.
“The Lord of the Rings” actor was not seen since the 2007’s blockbuster movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End,” where viewers were stupefied to see his heart carved out and kept in a Dead Man’s chest. With this sudden transfer of heart, he achieved immortality but was transformed into the captain of the Flying Machine at the end of third installment (“At World’s End”), as reported by Seventeen.
A Small Hint On “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” Plot
The upcoming movie “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” may serve as a soft reboot for the franchise, as what the 2009’s UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador said to the media. He will be seen this time chasing Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).
Whereas, the latter will be left with an alternative of discovering the Trident of Poseidon that could save his life. On the other hand, Captain Armando Salazar (Javier Bardem) will concentrate on eliminating as many pirates as possible for him.
The Joachim Rønning-directed movie will also have actors like Geoffrey Rush, Stephen Graham, Kaya Scodelario, and Kevin McNally - to name a few, playing the roles of Captain Hector Barbossa, Scrum, Carina Smyth, and Joshamee Gibbs respectively.
Disney’s Lesson From The Fourth Installment
According to Gamezone, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise already started to decline when the third installment was released. Then the release of the fourth sequel titled “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” almost ensured that the big hopes for the pirates on the theatre screen were over.
Critics believed that putting Johnny Depp as the main character in the fourth installment, instead of as a supporting role was not a good step for Disney. The time, it seems Disney has learned from its mistake but only time will tell how "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" creates a mark in the box office.
“Pirates of the Caribbean 5” will hit the big screen on May 26, 2017.
