'The Walking Dead' Season 8: Gear Up For Exciting 100th Episode; Some People Never Change
Excitement is building up for the forthcoming "The Walking Dead" Season 8. Apart from Scott Gimple, the showrunner, actor Andrew Lincoln also explained why the upcoming season will not be worth missing at all.

Lincoln, an actor of British origin is seen in the role of Rick Grimes since "The Walking Dead" started airing in 2010. The actor had some interesting tidbits on what the show's fans should expect from the first episode of season 8. Incidentally, it will be the 100th episode of the Zombie drama.
The actor was asked about the opening episode by an outlet and he responded, "This is when we do a panel, I look to my right and Scott Gimple answer that. The actor confirmed something, which is evident.
"The Walking Dead" Season 8 will pick up from where the previous season ended. Viewers will remember that when season 7 ended, Negan declared a war on the Hilltop Colony, Alexandria and the Kingdom, The Independent wrote.
In the season finale episode, Negan declared that it was time for war. Lincoln echoed this by admitting that there is a strong chance that the show will pick up from where they left off in season 7 finale. The actor also added "I don't think that that's breaking news."

While there are some who criticized that "The Walking Dead" Season 7 has been a bit slow from the start till its end, that could change in the upcoming season. Gimple said in a recent interview that the new season will be much faster than its predecessor.
The AMC drama did try to give some depth to Negan's character, through his interaction with Carl and also later, Sasha. However, he has always been a monster on this show. In fact, viewers will agree that the character has been a villain throughout in all sense, Buddy TV noted.
"The Walking Dead" Season 8 will hit the television screens on AMC in fall this year.
