The former Disney star, who started dating "Star Boy" singer, The Weeknd early this year, has been photographed around the world with him. She has even supported him in his different tours in America and in Europe.

Marie Claire talked to body language expert, Patti Wood and dissected how Selena Gomez and The Weeknd show their love through their gestures. The author of "Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma" said that at first, The Weeknd felt a little tension with how paparazzi are taking pictures of them, especially in an early photo taken in Jan. On the other hand, Selena Gomez kept her cool and still wrapped her arms around the singer, even looking at the paparazzi and smiling.

In another Jan. photo, Selena Gomez is still the clingy one. "She puts in more energy," Wood said. "She's probably the less secure, the more demonstrative, and more in need one. She's the one moving, touching, and going towards him."

Come Mar., The Weeknd was photographed giving a smooch to Selena Gomez, while out in public. However, he is not pulling her in. The body language expert surmises that this means The Weeknd "respect and honors" Selena Gomez.

Selena Gomez Balances Time For Fans And Boyfriend

Wood also noted how Selena Gomez makes an effort to "stand by her man," while still having time for her fans. In one photo, the "Me & My Girls" singer can be seen twisting her body to face her fans, while she was walking hand-in-hand with The Weeknd.

"She still wants to be connected to him, and it's very effortful," Wood said. "She's made a symbolic decision. Her body language is saying, 'You're my fans, but I'm with him.'"

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd broke headlines in Jan. with their public outings, which seemed to confirm they are dating. The Weeknd formerly dated supermodel, Bella Hadid.
