"Stranger Things" fans will have to wait until Halloween for the second installment of the Netflix web series. But, the good thing is that the cast and crew has a lot of news for its viewers.
Set in the 1980s, the first season follows three youngsters as they look for their missing friend. A girl called Eleven then mysteriously appeared in their lives. They later learned about her superhuman powers.
"Stranger Things" Season 1 previously ended with Will returning from the Upside Down. It was all because of Eleven's ultimate sacrifice. However, it has yet to address what will happen to the two key characters.
"Stranger Things" Season 2 Finishes Filming
The hit sci-fi horror TV series has released the latest news about their progress. According to Screen Rant,Tim Ives revealed that they are about the finish the production.The team is currently in Atlanta, Georgia.
The show's occasional director shared a collage of his set chair. His post also includes a sneak peek at a familiar forest scene in Hawkins, Indiana. The outlet speculates this is the same place where they shot the season 1 finale.
Ives added that they are filming the last two episodes of "Stranger Things" Season 2. According to him, he has a lot of mixed feelings about the upcoming season. Ives said that he is "super stoked and melancholy at the same time."

"Stranger Things" Season 2 Cast Updates And More
Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp made their debut in the said series. Joining them are Natalia Dyer, Cara Buono, Charlie Heaton, and Matthew Modine.
"Heathers" actress, Winona Rider and "Suicide Squad" star, David Harbour also played key roles in the project. The upcoming installment will feature a new set of actors including Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Linnea Berthelsen, and Brett Gelman.
