Justin Bieber is to tour India in the month of May. The "Purpose World Tour" will take place at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Interestingly, it would be the first time for the pop icon to perform in the subcontinent.

The ex-boyfriend of Selena Gomez will perform on May 10 in Mumbai, reports Daily Star. Incidentally, since it will be the first time Biebs will be coming to India, a lot of hype is currently generated, which has naturally affected the price of the tickets.

The source said that the basic ticket for the Justin Bieber show range between Rs. 4,060 to Rs. 25,200, whereas the VVIP ticket is priced at Rs. 76, 790 each.

Although the prices are so high, the tickets were sold within a few hours the moment they became live in last Feb.. However, the major tussle is to get the VVIP ticket, as those buying it will not only get the best view of the show but may get a chance to run in with Justin Bieber.

According to Arjun Jain, the director at White Fox India, the event company organizing the tour, the concert has created a frenzy among the Biebs' fans and they are just eagerly waiting for the star singer to come to India and perform. Reports indicated that on the first day itself, more than 5000 people lined up to purchase the tickets for the Justin Bieber tour.

Biebs World Tour Earnings Crossed $200 Million

The 23-year-old Canadian singer started the "Purpose World Tour" almost a year ago in Mar. 2016. In just one year, the tour has managed to earn around $200 million, reports NME. The first concert started in Seattle on Mar. 9 last year and now the latest will be India in May.

With the overwhelming response the organizers have received due to the Justin Bieber concert, it is clear that the "Purpose World Tour" will surely cross more milestones, collection-wise in the months to come.
