The anime's DVD and Blu-ray volumes have been doing great in the market as well. The fourth and most recent volume that was made available on Blu-ray on Mar. 31 made a total selling of 33,000 units in its first week alone, making it the top 3 Blu-ray volume from the anime franchise.

A new report from Crunchyroll suggested that the fifth disc, will be featuring the ninth and tenth segments of the anime. It is reportedly going to be released on Apr. 28 and is also expected to top the charts.

Mitsuro Kubo Talks About "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2

With all the victories taking place after the end of the first season, hypotheses are running high that "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2 might come sooner than anticipated. According to Mobipicker, showrunner Mitsuro Kubo uncovered that she targets to finish the said story before the year ends.

Kubo included that she as of now has a few thoughts regarding where to take Yuri Katsuki's story after his loss at the Grand Prix Final.
