Girl Barely Cheats Death After Being Hit By a 90mph Train While Posing for Artsy Photos

Next time take a moment to think before you decide to set up a glamour photo shoot studio featuring yourself in the path of an oncoming express train going nearly 100 miles per hour.

Apparently, this pretty lucky and also pretty unwise Chinese student didn't think when she asked her friend to take some artistic photographs of her hair flying back as the train raced past her in Shaodong, Hunan province in southern China.

Xiao Li, 20, had been busy posing away when she accidently lost her footing and fell straight into the path of the roaring train beside her.  She was sent flying through the air and into the gravel as the 90mph train smashed into her left shoulder.

The train driver who witnessed the accident immediately slammed on the brakes.  Later it was revealed that Li had miraculously survived with only a bruised shoulder.

"I felt this sudden bump and I was flying sideways. The train stopped and the driver thought he must have killed me," Li said, according to the Daily Mail.

"I didn't realize I was so close. My shoulder was badly bruised but I'm lucky to be alive," she said.

"Maybe next time we'll do some pictures indoors," Li added.

A spokesman for police in the province said, "It's strictly illegal to interfere with the railway lines but she seems to have punished herself quite a bit already," according to Inquisitr.com.
