"Grimm" Season 7 Spinoff Teased By Producers

There is hardly anyone who will disagree that "Grimm" has been one of the most popular television shows every Friday. So, is there a possibility that this fan-favorite TV series will have another innings? Showrunners Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt did not appear averse to the idea of its renewal, Korea Portal wrote.

Los Angeles Times reported that both the producers of "Grimm", Kouf and Greenwalt confessed that they have thought of producing a spinoff in the form of "Grimm" Season 7 with Theresa Rubel (Jacqueline Toboni) in the lead role. The producers also discussed the lives of the characters after two decades of the Destroyer's death.

Those who have followed the finale episode of season 6 will remember that while Jelly and Diana were shown as grown-ups, Adalind, Nick and the remaining members of the fans were not seen. According to Kouf, though many years have passed, the team is still following their life's mission.

In the same interview, the showrunners were queried on the possibility of the project shaping up as a comic book. Even if the spinoff does not materialize, a comic book series on the popular characters could come as a big consolation for its fans.

Meanwhile, in an interview given to Oregon Live, Greenwalt has shared that he has some ideas about producing a stand-alone adventure, which will some excellent characters in "Grimm". Though fans of the series would love to see another season in the form of a spinoff, there is no confirmation on the subject as of date.
