Michael Bublé's wife, Luisana Lopilato, opened up about their son's cancer battle. She credited faith in God and prayers for their son to help her get through the toughest times.

She said her faith in God strengthened her and her son. Lopilato admitted that their circumstances had changed their perspectives on life. She explained that she had learned the importance of life and the present as a result, and they were happy their son is recovering from the disease.

Their 3-year old son, Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer in November last year. In October, the boy had had high fever and it prompted doctors in Buenos Aires to check for mumps of which he was cleared. It was while doing several tests including an abdominal ultrasound for suspected mononucleosis or throat infection that the doctors noticed something was wrong with his liver.

Michael Bublé's wife flew with Noah, the younger son, Elias and her parents to Los Angeles to have him checked where they received confirmation of a liver cancer. The family was devastated by the news, and the Canadian crooner and wife decided to drop work commitments in order to spend time with Noah as he underwent chemotherapy.

Lopilato is an Argentine actress and model who married Bublé in 2011. She was filming "Those Who Love, Hate" when her son was diagnosed with liver cancer. She resumed working when Noah got better. She expressed gratitude to those who had worked with her in the film for respecting her need to take the time off during the time their son was receiving treatment.

In a press conference for the movie, she stated that their son is showing a lot of improvement and that his doctors are positive about his future.

She was thankful to God for giving the family strength, the People reported.
