'Quantico' Star Priyanka Chopra Judges Tribeca Film Festival; Details On Her Production Venture ‘Purple Pebble’

Priyanka Chopra To Judge Documentary Competitions
The 34-year-old star, who is also playing a major role in the upcoming movie, "Baywatch" has been nominated as a jury member to judge the documentary and student visionary competitions, reports Deccan Chronicle. She will be judging alongside other big names in the film world, including Ryan Eggold, IIen Gallagher, Brendan Fraser, and Olivia Thirlby.
Other celebrities who will also be on the panel of judges for judging various other categories include William Dafoe, Melanie Lynskey, Amy Berg, Sheila Nevins, and Zachary Quinto. The Tribeca Film Festival Award ceremony will take place on Apr. 27 at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, where winners from various categories will be announced. Michael Rapaport will host the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival that will run from April 19-30.
Purple Pebble Debut Movie Wins Three National Awards
It is not the first time that Priyanka Chopra has been in the limelight in Hollywood. Last year, she was one of the presenters at the iconic Oscars awards, as well as the Emmy Awards.
She was also on the front page of many popular magazines. Chopra was also in the news for being on the cover of the special edition of 2016's Time Magazine.
Incidentally, she was also given a place in the list of 100 Most Influential People. In India, Priyanka Chopra has come up with her own production house called Purple Pebble, which will mainly focus on regional movies, says Indian Express. The debut project of this company won three National Awards this year.
