The release date of “Star Wars Rebels” Season 4 is still not announced but it was earlier declared that the production is already on its way. Hence, fans are eager to know what can happen in the upcoming episodes of season 4.

The latest reports surrounding “Star Wars Rebels” Season 4 suggested that fans won’t be able to see the recreations of Scarif and Jedha in the upcoming episodes, per Screen Rant. The last weekend witnessed plenty of news on the series at Celebration Orlando where the creator Dave Filoni opined that it will be the final seasons for the series. The upcoming fourth season will consist of only 16 episodes.

Why Creator Dave Filoni Opted To End Series?

The 42-year old Filoni, who is also behind the creation of “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” said that he decided to end “Star Wars Rebels” in season 4 because here he planned to give a proper ending to the series, unlike in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” ended in 2014. Apart from this, the most vital thing he teased about the series is that the plot is going to be darker and a tad funnier too than the previous season.

Trailer For “Star Wars Rebels” Season 4

According to The Snapper Millersville, the trailer for “Star Wars Rebels” Season 4 was premiered during the panel. The trailer opens with the voice of Vanessa Marshal’s voiceover character Hera Syndulla who is also known as a captain of the Rebel ship The Ghost.

While the images of each crew member flashes on-screen, they are been described by Hera’s voice - “A boy who was lost…” This is how the trailer continues with Hera’s voice and suddenly the antagonist of season 3, Admiral Thrawn appears.

“Star Wars Rebels” Season 4 will have its premiere on Disney XD in fall 2017.
