Middleton Talks Of Isolation

Kate Middleton has opened up that she felt isolated as a mom. This has been shared by the Duchess at a talk about mental health. The discussion was also joined by Prince Harry, where he spoke about his being lost when her mom, Princess Diana died according to The Mirror.

In this discussion, Kate shared that it is but normal for women to feel isolated, especially in being a new mom. She noted that there are so many mothers who are also feeling lonely during the time when children enter the picture.

Taking care of babies can be a fulfilling activity for mothers but it is also a lonely task. Middleton stated in the discussion that discussions on mental health should be done with new moms, so that the feeling of isolation can be prevented.

Support From Other Moms

It helps when there are those that support other moms in times of loneliness. This also has not been the first time that Middleton opened up about the challenges of being a new mom. Aside from the feelings of being isolated when in the motherhood stage, no one is ever prepared for it.

For Middleton, sharing about the difficulties of being a new mom is a brave move for women who have the same experiences with each other. It can be a lonely place when babies are to be cared for. There will be more challenges that a mother can face once in the state of being a new mom, as reported by Glamour.

Meanwhile, Middleton also shared that there is nothing that can prepare a new mom with the challenges of motherhood. It is an overwhelming experience but is worth it. The feeling of being isolated can always be healed when one reaches out for help.
