New Heineken Ad Depicts Individual Differences; View Compared To Pepsi Ad [VIDEO]
Heineken released a new advert, which is socially relevant and is said to be better than the Pepsi ad that came out three weeks ago. The mentioned Pepsi ad, featured Kendall Jenner and recently met criticisms.
What Was The Beer Ad About?
The beer company has released a new ad that runs for two minutes. It is indicated that the beer brand's new advert was unscripted. It follows three pairs of strangers, who all share different views and are building a bar together.
As these individuals built the bar, they were unaware that they all have different views of socially relevant topics. Later in the Heineken ad, all of them were talking about each other's opinion about transgender rights, climate change, and feminism, as reported by Fortune.
The Heineken ad received a more positive view from audiences compared to the Pepsi ad. It is also reported that this may be an antidote of the controversial ad from Pepsi with Kendall Jenner. Right after the bar building, each individual chose to sit and talk about their views over a beer.
Building Trust
In the meantime, the Heineken ad depicts individuals building trust before they finally sit and talk about their opposing views on certain issues. Additionally, the beer ad also gives audiences a view of the characters choosing if they stay and talk about their differences or leave, according to Vox.
The Heineken ad also got some negative response from viewers. It may have been negative to some but as a whole, most viewers were reported to have a positive feedback about the new beer ad. It may have been a different way of approach from the previous ad from Pepsi.
As a whole, people will ultimately look at certain adverts depending on one's view. The Pepsi ad may have been looked at differently from individuals that had negative feedback about it. This new Heineken advert also gives out different views from the consumers, depending on how one looks at it.
