Selena Gomez Responds To "13 Reasons Why" Backlash
Selena Gomez stays positive, despite the backlash that "13 Reasons Why" is receiving from Netflix. She dished about the controversial show and its effects to the viewers.
"We stayed very true to the book and that is initially what Jay Asher created was a beautifully tragic, complicated yet suspenseful story and I think that's what we wanted to do," the "It Ain't Me" singer revealed. "We wanted to do it justice and, yeah, (the backlash is) gonna come no matter what. It is not an easy subject to talk about, but I am very fortunate with how it is doing."
Despite all the negative feedback the show received, the "Hands To Myself" singer remains positive. She even knows that it will have a positive effect on teenagers.
"I just wanted it to come across in a way that kids would be frightened," the "Love You Like A Love Song" singer adds, "but confused and in a way that they would talk about it because it is something that is happening all the time. "
Gomez Releases "It Ain't Me" Music Video
Meanwhile, Latina revealed that Gomez has finally released a music video for her new song, "It Ain't Me." The song is created by Gomez and Kygo, which is a very catchy song that is a hitmaker nowadays.
