The Buzz Was Generated Based On Mia Khalifa’s Answer To A User

A Twitter user accused Mia Khalifa of “lying about a terminal illness.” As a reply, the 24-year old former porn star answered, “I am not just sure. I am HIV positive.” Her open answer over Twitter made the case viral and her fans also started considering their favorite actress is diagnosed with HIV.

However, Mia Khalifa has recently dismissed the online buzz. After tweeting “I am HIV positive,” she was asked by one of her close friends whether or not the buzz over the social networking site is true. She confirmed to her friend, saying that “she is all clear” and her health is absolutely okay.

“I wasn’t even going to make a statement acknowledging this trash, but because it has gotten so much exposure, it feels necessary. I don’t usually let mean-spirited things about me on the internet get under my skin. That’s a skill I have had to develop over time,” she said later.

She also said she would be lying if she said that this didn’t hurt her. While saying so, she clarified that the situation really hurts when people close to her start texting and asking if this nonsense information was true.
