A 65-year-old patient claims that a young female nurse raped him while he was being treated at a Philadelphia hospital last month.

The elderly man had been staying at Temple University hospital for a week after a motorcycle accident, according to a police report.

The man claims he was raped on February 27 at around 3:30am inside a hospital bathroom. According the police report obtained by NBC Philadelphia, the man says a nurse in her 20s then proceeded to sexually assault him.  However, the details of the alleged encounter have not been made public.

However, a Temple University spokesperson released a statement to NBC saying that Temple police have investigated the patient's allegations and "found no basis to support the claim."

"When we were made aware of the allegation, we promptly investigated the matter and found no basis to support the claim. We are cooperating fully with Police," the statement read.

Temple University hospital is a 728-bed teaching hospital in Philadelphia that employs 3,879 workers, including 1,300 nurses, according to the Daily Mail.
