It's not just women.  A new relationship survey reveals that men also use sex to get what they want.

According to a new poll, 65 percent of women and 11 percent of men confess that they use sex to reward their partner for good behavior.

Survey respondents were asked if they have ever used sex as a reward for their partners, and those who answered yes were asked when they rewarded their partner with intimacy. 

The survey, conducted by an online pharmacy store ukmedix.com revealed that 38 percent of women who answered yes were most likely to give it up if their man helps around the house, and 34 percent were most likely to have sex as a "thank you" for a gift or treat.

Of the men who answered yes, 38 percent said they were most likely to reward their girlfriends with sex if they agree to watch sports with them, and 31 percent said they were most likely to reward their partners if they helped around the house.

 The survey involved 1,994 men and women aged 18 and over and living in the UK.  All of the participants were in a cohabitating relationship.

The survey revealed that 78 percent of participants admitted that they didn't think there was anything wrong with using sex as a reward.

"Intimacy and the part it plays in relationships can be incredibly interesting, and with this study we particularly wanted to look at how men and women may use intimacy to encourage certain behaviors from their partner," said Thomas O'Connell of ukmedix.com, according to the Daily Mail.

"To see that so many women, much more so than men, use it as a reward was an eye-opener; but it's apparent that intimacy is somewhat of a weapon when it comes to getting your partner to do what you'd like them to. One thing's for sure, both men and women are guilty of it, and no one seems to mind!" he added.
